Heres a quick little video of walking through the new limerick tunnel in its grand opening today, Found it a bit gimmiky to be honest, all stalls, music and people asking for money, I know a lot was for charity, but it was a semi private venture and I dont think that should have given anyone the right to jump on the bandwaggon to set up stalls. Raising funds of course is always welcome, but Blaring bad pop music (Limerick live 95FM and they were not raising funds!) sell ice-cream, drinks, burgers and everything else were people only making their own profits! Howesever, its an impressive structure and I enjoyed the walk, nice day to be under the Shannon! :p

Actually, it is a public-private partnership, and I think it was a great way to raise a few bob for local charities. Why not go out and enjoy yourself, have a nice little stroll, and raise money for well-deserving local charities?
